One of my current favourite wines on the list , a dry wine that goes great with food or as a aperitif, although a dry wine has plenty of citrus fruit to give it great length .

Red wine:
Benuara, Nero D’ Avola Syrah, 2008 Sicily £26.95
This truly remarkable wine and as the Lugana is a favourite white this is possibly my red of the moment. Juicy fruit and a richness that you will struggle to match in any similarly priced wine.
